1.0 Update

• Transparent blur theme

Thanks to FrostedGlass plugin, Windows 10 and 11 users can get these fancy new style look

• Friendly errors in Weather

Errors happens and we want them to be more informative and easy to fix.
Now you'll understand, what's going wrong and how to fix it. If not, we also have a Support button

• Support of music players

Now Music widget will work with AIMP, Spotify, iTunes, Winap, Windows Media and other player

• Low Battery Mode

A lot of optimizations had been done. Monterey Rainmeter 1.0 will use less battery and CPU.
But if you still are expiriencing issues, you can turn off animations and reduce update rate with a single click

• Sidebar Mode

Get an icon on the taskbar to quickly show or hide widgets

Widgets

• Clock

Shows current time of any timezone, with or without seconds

• Timer

Basic countdown with an alarm sound

• Calendar

Shows current month view, with Monday or Sunday as first day of week

• Music player

Allows you to control music player
Supported players: WMP, AIMP, CAD, iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Winamp

• Weather

Shows hourly and daily forecast
You can change the forecast by entering your city name

• Monitoring

Shows current CPU, RAM, Disk, Network and Battery levels

• Volume

Allows you to control system volume, volume per app, mute apps and switch output devices

• Notes

Gives you a quick access to your most important text information

• Reminders

Basic to-do list

Each widget exists in 4 sizes, you can switch between them in the context menu

Version 0.5 is uploaded

• User settings now will persist between updates, thanks Active Color for the advice

• Auto theme now works correctly, you can set desired hours and it will automaticaly switch light and dark themes

• ^ Same goes for Color theme when changing wallpapers

• Volume widget now can manipulate volumes per app, thanks khanhas for the plugin

• Music widget behavior was re-written, I hope it would be stable enough

Ok, sure! I was also trying to make it able to switch audio source per application, like you can do with EarTrumpet or in the Control Panel.
But I didn't find a way to make it possible. At least it seems, VolumeApp plugin is not capable of that
If you know, how to do it, please let me know

Hi, thanks for your interest! These are from Mac OS Monterey,and there they are called widgets
My goal was to make them look as close as possible, so I called them the same way
I understand the terminology of Rainmeter, but I'd assumed there's no difference on how to call them

This is a corrective release
It doesn't add any new widget, but does include some performance improvements and other fixes
Download link is in the first message

Before update
Copy your settings from Monterey\@Resources\Settings somewhere
After update, paste all files from that folder to Monterey\@Resources\Variables
I hope that is the last time I break backward compatibility

Music and Volume widgets are now consuming less CPU resources

• Music widget fix

On Spotify and some other players background color of the widget was not updating to match album cover color

• Weather error handler

Added some error screen, now it's less possible to see an empty widget with no data

About the weather and API keys
I haven't expect so many users on this skin suite
(Which is good, actually, thanks for your interest!)
But now we are exceeding Weather API daily requests limit, and many users reporting that they see an empty widget with no data
So, if you want to actively use Weather widget, I recomend you to get a personal API key
You can find instructions here or in the widget, when this situation occur next time

New widgets

• Timer - Basic countdown with an alarm sound

Change the time with the keyboard or mouse wheel
The timer keeps going even when the widget is closed

• Reminders - Basic to-do list

Click on the background to add a new item
Click on the item to change it
Erase the text and press Enter to remove an item

Improvements

• Color theme customization

You can set a custom background or foreground values for a color theme
Use %0 for wallpaper background color
Use %1 for wallpaper foreground color

• Reduced widgets flickering
