Thread about Windows 11
I think it would be best to start a dedicated thread for discussions about the new Windows 11...

Re: Thread about Windows 11
It will take some getting used to, and there are still a LOT of hinky things that need to be stamped out in this early beta, but I'm sorta ok with it so far.

Re: Thread about Windows 11
One thing I changed right away, and I'd recommend it in a "desktop/laptop" environment, is to get rid of all the extra spacing in lists of files in Windows Explorer... It would be fine on a tablet, where you are concerned about your fat fingers. With a mouse, it's just annoying.

1. How did you get rid of the language selector?
2. Why is your Rainmeter icon white?

Re: Thread about Windows 11
The only way I can see to get rid of the language selector on the taskbar is to go to Languages in Settings, and "Remove" all languages except your primary one. If there is no choice to be made, there is no selector.death.crafter wrote: ↑July 9th, 2021, 3:50 pm 1. How did you get rid of the language selector?

I use a custom .ico file that I created, and use it in a TrayMeasure section in Rainmter.ini

Code: Select all
[TrayMeasure]
Measure=Calc
Formula=1
TrayMeter=Bitmap
TrayBitmap=Icon\RainmeterWhite.ico

Re: Thread about Windows 11
You sure it works this way in Windows 11? I don't think it does.

Actually there is no option for that, in Windows 11,

I have only one language, but have two keyboard layouts (Idk why) and I don't know where to change that.
Oh. I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know.jsmorley wrote: ↑July 9th, 2021, 5:17 pm I use a custom .ico file that I created, and use it in a TrayMeasure section in Rainmter.ini

I was envious of Mr. Morley's cool Rainmeter icon too.
