RSS feeds Do not work

Hi,

Ive downloaded a tonne of RSS (standalone) feed readers but none of them work, when i put in my test feed "http://lostgamers.kennyiststudios.co.uk/feed.xml" It will not load the feed, and even some dont load the preset feeds. Does anyone know why this might be happening.

The only RSS feeds that work are the ones that come with rain meter, Enigma ETC (with my test feed).

Not all feeds have exactly the same format. Therefore if there are some minor differences in formatting, the RegExp that matches the feed and extracts information will fail.

You have a number of possibilities to circumvent this:

1. Re-write the RegExp of the WebParser measure. This might also require you to change the StringIndex settings on some of the WebParser measures.

2. "Pipe" the feed through something like Google Reader: http://rainmeter.net/cms/Tips-GoogleReaderRSS and hope that does the trick

3. Try using Kaelri's Universal Feed Reader: http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=99&t=9068&hilit=universal+feed+reader and possibly change it to suit your needs.
