i don't actually have an interest in having this myself, i just randomly thought of it, and am curious at the possibility.
this possibility being if rainmeter could have a video or animation play, either as a desktop embedded thing or possibly be situated behind everything drawn and play a video as your wallpaper.
it's probably actually possible, and if so, that is interesting. though possible, and working and performing smoothly without eating up enough resources to crash a server farm are two different things.

I don't know if it's possible, would be problably cool.
But I don't know whether Rainmeter should used for this ?
And if you want a video as a wallpaper then: (nice with musicvideos)
Have VLC, play a video, right click on video, select video, click on something like DirectX-Desktopbackground (or in the past Wallpaper i guess)

Rainmeter - You are only limited by your imagination and creativity.

VLC could be another way to do it.
idk if rainmeter should be used for such things either, but i imagine someday someone will come along looking for exactly that, for some reason.
and you learn something new every day. i did not notice VLC could imitate backgrounds.
