Suggestion: Scrolling text/scroll bars and "what's running"

Post by the50first »

I havent produced too much with rainmeter yet, but from what understanding and what i've seen of the program, there are no scrolling text buttons, or auto scrolling that disappears at boundaries. Nor are there ways to access running programs (Like the taskbar at the bottom of windows which displays whats active or not. These might be some good features to include in your next version.

The scrolling you mention would be nice, but there are plenty of other programs out there that tell you what's running, so I'd say that's not necessary. So if I had to pick I'd rather see the scrolling feature! imho :)

Scrolling is often requested, but the way Rainmeter is built makes it impossible to do without using quite a bit of CPU. If you search these forums you can find some scrolling skins to try out.
