Input search text...

I can't add/input/type text for the search, in any Search skin (try them many)? I try also all settings variants, etc. Skin is always with hand cursor...



I'm on XP SP3 x32 & Rainmeter 2.0.0 rev 745.

Any tip/help?

Are there spaces in the path to the skin?

E.G
"...Rainmeter\Skins\My Skins\inputtext.ini"

If there is, there is a bug with the inputtext plugin that makes it fail.

Yeah, there was an issue with spaces in the 2.0 version. It should have been fixed in 2.1 beta.

I just update to 2.1 r808 & it's same. Can't input text...
Btw, there is no spaces in the path to the skin. I also try many skins!

Path from the ABP (first post prev):
"...\My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\ABP\Search\Search.ini"

Okay, what are you doing when you click the skin?

Click the skin text box, type text, and dont click anywhere else until your done typing, then hit enter.

I can't activate the text box? Can't type the text at all!
Cursor hand & Google text (in text box) are always present!
