hey dudes what goin on...

well i joined this forum to see how mad i can make my desktop. I have been given this (http://rapidshare.com/files/450327591/FlowDee_Rainmeter.rar) to add to rainmeter as i was admiring a friends desktop but i dont know the first thing about adding it all to my rain meter and would appreciate some help.

As for installing his little pack of skins,

• Extract Everything
• Go into the "Skins" folder of the extracted rar.
• Drag and drop the contents of the skins folder here:
• "%UserProfile%\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\"

You can the default set of suites below:
http://rainmeter.net/cms/Discover

Or you can go to places like deviantart or customize.org and find skins there.
Make sure to always run a virus scan, and check the comments.

This will get you started on installing skins, and getting to know the rainmeter terminology a bit more.

Once you feel comfortable with how rainmeter operates, you can start tearing apart other peoples code to see how skins work and also start skinning yourself. To learn how to start skinning you can go here.

how do i change the language of a skin? a friend sent me a skin in German and i want it in english

All text is hardcoded. Your going to have to translate it.

You could most likely be able to just upload the file to google.com/translate and copy the output back into the .ini. This will take care of most of it, and leave just a few grammatical errors.
