Lua to read the measure, and a !RainmeterWriteKeyValue in the lua script will allow for this.
I have three rules when I'm trying to help you.
  • Don't get mad when you don't understand something
  • Be VERY specific with what you ask for.
The more specific you are, the higher the quality of support you receive.
  • Do not just copy and paste what I put in examples and come back saying it doesn't work.
It does work, but I purposely left blanks that you need to fill for your specific needs.

Thank you, but I would have liked something to not install: the pc I want to take the data from can't boot anymore, so I'm searching for something in the files, since I can access them.

The statistics for uploads and download are stored in Rainmeter.ini in

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Rainmeter
Windows Vista and later: C:\Users\YourName\Appdata\Roaming\Rainmeter

Note: If you are running beta r793 or better, the stats are stored in the same location, but in a file Rainmeter.stats.

I think my old version of RM stored network statistic differently.
I've downloaded the 2.0, and restored the old Rainmeter.ini: now the statistics are 4 times bigger!
Anyone know how to fix it?
Maybe downloading an old version of RM, but I didn't found it!

the new rainmeter program stores statistics in a different file.

When using Rainmeter 2.0 or below, backup Rainmeter.ini. When using Rainmeter 2.1 beta or above, backup Rainmeter.stats.

What do you want to fix? Don't quite understand..

I'm using RM 2.0 and I have restored the old Rainmeter.ini opening with WINRAR the file RainBackup.rmskin made before formatting with the proper program of RM ( I even restored the full backup executing the file ) but the total download and upload are 4 times bigger!
