I'm making a skin currently (ive been going on it for several months and it still looks blank)
I was trying to figure out what I can add to it.
I have; email, trash, music player (multisoftware), clock, notes, system, volume, & a program opener.
Anything else you can think of?

A news headlines RSS is always handy.

I would say a quote meter that just reads a random line from a text file and displays it. It's not too hard and it brought together my current desktop without over-cluttering it.

Starting a RSS feed and going to start a WOTD instead of a quote of the day (seems easier to find a source easily switchable though).
