sorry in advance if this has been discussed.
I've read somewhere that Rainmeter causes a lot of writes on a SSD drive which is bad. Can anyone clarify this ? I'd like to use Rainmeter but want to make sure it won't kill my new intel 510 drive.
thanks in advance

Re: Rainmeter + SSD
No need to worry. The amount of writes (usually once every minute or when you open/close/drag a skin) is insignificant compared to other programs (e.g. Firefox writes several times per second even when idle).
Enjoy your SSD and stop worrying Most drives will last several years even with intense writing daily.
