RainRexExp is a tool to help create and manage those "RegExp=" (Regular Expression) statements you need in Rainmeter for WebParser measures. It will load a URL, let you build and test your RegExp statement, copy the statement to your clipboard to put in your skins, and will save and load sessions so you can always go back and do further work on a RegExp. No more "Debug=1" needed!
The latest version will always be here:
RainRegExp
Note that some antivirus applications may detect AutoIT applications (which RainRegExp is) as a "virus" and block either the download or unzipping or both. There is certainly nothing harmful in RainRegExp, and this is a "false positive". The best thing I can tell you to do is to turn off your antivirus while you download, unzip, and put RainRegExp where you want it, then it should be fine to turn back on your antivirus.

No, I'd rather not have a dozen clones of it floating around confusing the matter.Klexur wrote:Could you post the source for RainRegExp as well?

Hi jsmorley, awesome thanks so much!, im just starting with WebParser and this is a tremendous tool!
If possible, could you make the font color customisable? i generally use dark themes (as most ppl who spend many hours in front of the pc) and i cant see the text cause of the black font on a dark background :P
of course i can change the theme and then switch back, anyways thanks a lot.

Re: RainRegExp - Rainmeter Regular Expression tester
I have updated RainRegExp.zip in the first post of this thread.
- Fixed the issue that RainRegExp was more "greedy" than WebParser is.

I have got a problem..
when i insert a url and press the connect button it shows connection error unable to connect to website... even though my skin is actually getting the rss from the same website...
Could anyone please verify that this is actually a bug??
