Is there a way to get the side bars to act like google desktop, e.g split the part of the screen for the side bar only so my other windows will not move over the side bar.
I want the side bar area to be dedicated only to the side bar.

Add DesktopWorkArea= to Rainmeters setting (Rainmeter > Edit Settings).
