I am new!
I am new to the rainmete community, this stuff looks super cool though, might be looking for guidance though as far as learning how to use it though.

Hello MrFriday; welcome to the Rainmeter forums!
To learn the basics, I'd start with the Rainmeter 101 section. It's an introduction to the program and has some neat skin tutorials at the end to get you started writing your own skins, if you wish. The best way to learn though, I think, is taking apart / modding other people's skins.
Best of luck to you, and don't hesitate to ask around the Help section or IRC channel if you run into problems.
