Help please>>Rainmeter cant find skins<<

Hi,
I've installed Rainmeter on a Win XP pro with Bitdefender and I don't understand something, every time I try to load Rainmeter or install a skin it pops a message saying:

There are no available skins at: E:\path_to_documents\Rainmeter\Skins\

any help please

The only suggestion I have would be to open RainBrowser and then click "Edit Settings" (bottom center of window) that will open Rainmeter.ini in you text editor.
Near the top there will be a "SkinPath" variable make sure it is correct for you installation.

tried that and result is another window with:

Unable to locate Skins Folder
Please check Skinpath =setting in rainmeter.ini

where is that .ini located. do you know?

Default File Locations

Program files:
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter
Windows Vista and later: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter

Skins:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins
Windows Vista and later: C:\Users\YourName\My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins

Rainmeter.ini and themes:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Rainmeter
Windows Vista and later: C:\Users\YourName\Appdata\Roaming\Rainmeter

The path to skins folder is correct. I don't understand why it says that cant find skins.

"My documents" on this computer is pointing to another place, another drive, can it be this? (but the path on Rainmeter.ini is correct )

any idea?

Is there a reason you can't just place your skins in the "My Documents" folder
