Deviant Art Message feed?
I was wondering if there was a way to make a skin that like the Gmail reader tells me how many messages i have from my deviant art page.

No.
DeviantArt does not allow you to login via sending your username and password in the URL.
Unless you find some open feed, or a feed that takes commands like the gmail feed, you will not be able to see any messages on dA.

It seems there is a site that will retrieve your messages in RSS format for you here.
