Using Different Fonts on Rainmeter.

Why do some fonts not work on rainmeter? Does it have to do with whether it's True Type Font or Open Type Font? I can't seem to change the fonts every time, that's why. So I'm guessing that I can only use Open Type fonts?

I'm always using True Type fonts without any problems...which fonts aren't working and do they just not display or do you get something else on-screen?
