Transparency problem

I got a great looking theme that is built near-perfect to what i want, and is great for other ppl, the problem is the way it looks its supposed to have a 50% transparency on it, not in the individual skins themselves, in the skin browser i place the transparency, the problem is some of my skins cause an "Over-Lapped" look these skins are for eg a button in the top left, and when u click it a image pops up in the bottem left corner, now a different skin in the middle will also be at 50% transparency, but looks more like its 25% transparency, how would i fix this problem?

the problem is the little rectangle boxes cause a over-lap look on the 4 launchers underneath it
