Help! Im a noob

Hi Rainmeter forums. I just downloaded this today and have been playing around with it...and failing pretty badly.
I have no experience in coding or anything.

For example I downloaded this file called "simple music skin" But i have absoloutley no idea how to make it look like the one in the picture.

I cant understand the manual or the rainmeter 101 stuff >_>
I see users have replaced the start task bar with the rainmeter skin but how do you do that? i got the icon up but the things are in german and how do you get it so the clock shows numbers instead of the annoying circle clock thing >_< help please!
