But that's the point! I have a skin whose small but important function requires no meters. Is there a way to disable this error message? My quick fix was making a meter without any visible content, but that seems silly.

Yeah, that's how I had to do it. It'd be nice if we had some sort of "CheckForMeters=0" under [Rainmeter], but as it is, it's a small price to pay.
