GPU load & RAM monitoring possible?

I'm new to rainmeter but I am fairly good with computers, I've gotten rainmeter to display everything I want it to except for monitoring the GPU like many skins handle the CPU and monitoring the graphics cards RAM usage. I know its possible to access this information because I have a windows gadget that does this. I've browsed a lot of skins looking for this and seen none. Is there any way i can edit a skin that tracks ram/cpu to make it track the same values on the graphics unit? Here's a picture so you have a idea of what im talking about, the gadget im looking to replace is on the right side with the background.

If you don't have a program that writes that info to a file for Rainmeter to read then someone would have to create a plugin to get the info.

You can get SpeedFan to track your GPU-temp.
The downside is that you have to run SpeedFan in the background. But it tracks the Temp at least, if you GPU is supported.
