Mp3 player Help
Hey guys, is there a way to sync my mp3 with Rainmeter? If so, how would I go about doing it?

Re: Mp3 player Help
In what way we're you thinking about 'syncing' your mp3 with rainmeter?
Rainmeter can see how much diskspace is left on it if you plug it in via USB, but that's about it.
If you we're thinking about making rainmeter play the files on the mp3, the answer to it is: No, rainmeter can't do that. It can send some commands some mediaplayers, but it is not a media player itself.
So what really was it you were thinking about?

I don't think, therefore I'm not.

I would definitely like to know how to check the space.
Also, is there a way for it to display the battery?

I was literally thinking about this last night.maxig92 wrote:I would definitely like to know how to check the space.

Only with iPods.
I can tell you already a few things:
If it's an iPod Touch, any or all of that info will be hard to get.
Other iPods may vary.
An MP3 player that can run as a USB drive can easily be checked for free space. Just direct Rainmeter to what drive it is. (Look in My Computer)
And unless the MP3 player already shows the battery left it'll be near impossible to get it to.
If it does already show battery left you may be able to, but it may need a plugin.
I'm guessing that there won't be a plugin generic enough for all MP3 players, iPods, etc even within the brand because how much they change between models and updates. Hopefully something will happen though.
