Resizing weather add on? (newb question)

Post by Aleforge »

I am completely new to rainmeter and I have a very silly question I am sure. I got pretty much everything where I want it except I need the weather app to be wider so it displays the information correctly. I looked through some of the .ini files for the app and the main rainmeter config file. Did not see anything to change the window size? I also tried various keystrokes to try and stretch the window out manually, as that would seem the more intiutive way? No luck obviously, can someone help me out?

If you were looking in Rainmeter.ini, you were looking in the wrong place. The ini file you want to change can be accessed by right-clicking the skin and going to Skin Menu > Edit Skin. After that, it's hard for me to say what to change without seeing the code for the skin myself. I can tell you that width is controlled by the "W" parameter in the skin's meters.

Well that helps, I will give it a shot tomorrow at work. I was looking for X / Y, for some reason!

Thank you!
