hi! sorry if this is the wrong forum, i have no idea where else to post this.
i'm looking for a text clock skin that basically lets me put a custom image as the background and preferably has corner rounding options.
for 'text clock' i mean one that just tells me the time and doesn't show an actual clock, if it makes sense?
if there's also something like this but for spotify players, i would definitely appreciate it if you mentioned those!
again, i'm really sorry if i'm posting in the wrong forum. i'll try my best not to mess up next time

Doesn't entirly match your needs, but a while ago there was a skin which told the time and the weather. You can't put an image, however it can read what is seen on it.magaliii wrote: ↑June 2nd, 2024, 7:29 pm hi! sorry if this is the wrong forum, i have no idea where else to post this.

In case you want to give it a try, here can you find the skin. Note that to can use it, you have to replace the APIKey variable into the TextClock6\@Resources\WeatherComJSONVariables.inc file with APIKey=71f92ea9dd2f4790b92ea9dd2f779061.
Is it working more or less as you want?

Re: Are there any skins like this?
Balala nicely covered the possibility of you wanting a skin actually telling / speaking / displaying the time for you in words, but if by any chance you meant simply displaying a formatted date and / or time, e.g. "Monday, 3 June 2024, 13:26:45" or similar, any skin displaying the "raw" output of a Time measure in a meter can do that:
https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/measures/time/
https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/meters/string/
And yes, you can use an image with rounded corners as a background, if you place a rounded rectangle Shape meter and an Image meter using the former as a container before the meter displaying the time mentioned above:
https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/meters/shape/#Rectangle
https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/meters/shape/#AttributeModifiers
https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/meters/image/
https://docs.rainmeter.net/manual/meters/general-options/container/
You can simplify things and skip the Shape meter and setting it as a Container in the Image one, if you directly photoshop your image to have rounded corners, of course.
As for a skin doing that, you can try using the Search button on this forum or looking for clock skins on DeviantArt, in case neither possibility satisfies your needs. Let us know your take on this and how we could help further, if needed.

Speaking TextClock6 with Weather should definitely work, especially that the author, jsmorley, just updated the package and included the working APIKey. So you don't even have to replace it as I described in my reply.

Both choices should work, it all depends on what you actually want - I only added mine since your initial post was open to interpretation in that regard.
