hello world!

I want to start customizing my taskbar to something like the image below.
Is that possible with rainmeter?
If so, how?

The answer is yes, it is possible - but that is not the actual taskbar in Windows, it's a Rainmeter skin that's showing on the screen after previously (auto?)hiding your actual Windows taskbar. In other words, Rainmeter is not a WindowBlinds kind of application, where you patch Windows itself to customize it. It's just an application that puts things on the screen after Windows put its own.

As for how it's done, visually it's just a rectangle shape where icon images that react to mouse actions are placed upon (visual elements or "sections" are called meters). And, of course, besides those, there are measures (elements or "sections" that retrieve data, like the time or the weather, which can be then associated with one or more meters for displaying purposes).
