Type in "AppVol.exe" in your start menu search - open the app. Then select the mute button for whatever you want to mute. I should stay that way unless changed by you or an reinstall of rainmeter.

There ia also a programatical way to stop that sound but you would have to share the name and even beetter the code for the skin that does the sound.

So. Usually the sounds rainmeter are wav files. You can search the skin with word search of notepad for .wav.

If it looks pretty straight forward, just delete the wav file name and the line or part of the code that is using the "play" bang.

Let us know if that works.

The Play bang is one of few that do no require an ! in front of it, and will usually be part of a line of code with an IF action you should also be able to delete that part as well, but dont over do it be mindful of the possibility of other things being cued when the sound is meant tp play.

Did that bit of info help you get the result, or need more help?

There is no obligation that these forums are all that's out there.

We will help, it might long delays behind learning and examples, but time zones mess things up sometimes.
