Rainmeter lag

Hey, i have a problem with rainmeter. It makes my pc lag but only when im on desktop, when i open any application the lagging stops, but when i go back to my desktop even my mouse starts lagging. Any tips?

Which skins are you running?
Save your current layout of your running skins. Unload all your running skins. Quit and start Rainmeter. Make sure that no skins are running. Is the lag happening now with NO skins running?

Yes it still lags when the skins are unloaded, but i just found out that this only happens when my laptop is on battery, when it is connected to power it doesnt lag. Is there a way to stop making it lag on battery?

Sorry, I am out of ideas. This sounds like your laptop enters some kind of battery saving mode when on battery. What kind of skin are you using? Amd what kind of lag are you experiencing?
