I can't install rmskin files

I can't install rmskin files

I double click on the rmskin files "Rainmeter Skin Installer" pops out i tick the boxes that are necessary and click install and then it shows a bar saying that its "Installing..." idk if i'm actually installing it or not but its been installing for 9 hours now and i do not think it'll stop

Sorry for the delay in a reply... most skins will not take more than a several seconds to install...

If Rainmeter is locked, trying to install for 9 hours...
Use Task Manager to close Rainmeter.
Delete your "Rainmeter.ini" from "{Username}\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.ini".
Restart Rainmeter, the default illustro skins will load.

Now tell us what skin you are trying to install and your system specs...
