Hi, this is my first post and actually my first time using Rainmeter and I am highly impressed. =)
I have seen many people using it and now that I am using it I can see why.
BUT I am having one minor issue, I have downloaded 4 ping skins and tried to make one myself and no matter what they all say ping = 0
I know my ping isn't 0 as I am running a windows sidebar gadget and it is saying 43 right now. Lol.
So I was wondering if anyone else was having these issues as well or know what I am doing wrong to fix it.
Down below I'll post up the 3 that I downloaded and aren't currently working.
I also will mention that I tried the 1.1 and now just installed the 1.2(beta) and to still no avail.

Not a skin problem but a problem with how http://www.google.com responds. Try http://www.yahoo.com instead and you will find that it works. I am guessing the ping plugin does a different kind of ping call than from a windows command line and http://www.google.com responds with 0 from the plugin call.
I just tested your fourth sample verbatim sans the background and it provide good results using www.yahoo.de.

Sadly it doesn't work. Right now there is a discussion in the Bugs section about it and many people running 64-bit systems of windows 7 can't get any ping skin to work no matter how it's coded right now. =( I have tried countless websites to ping and it doesn't matter which one it is.
