I've noticed that Rainmeter can't render out emojis typed in by pressing win+;. Is there a specific reason as to why that is?
Some work, some don't. Check the gif below to see what I mean:

I'm going to assume it's because they are not a font character, so they will not display correctly.

Rainmeter only supports the Basic Multilingual Plane for Unicode characters.

That is decimal values up to 65,536 or hex x10000

That robot emoji is decimal ‭129,302‬ or hex ‭x1F916‬

Most of the emoji won't work, only those that have been around a long time, like the check mark that fall in the Basic Multilingual Plane.

Pictograph fonts like Font Awesome are supported in Rainmeter, but that is because they remap their images into the Basic Multilingual Plane. You would need to use one of those to achieve this.
