Hi there,
Another newbee, from the Netherlands.
I am using Rainmeter 4.1 and love those gadgets on my desktop.
Very time consuming and not always straight forward to get things done.

You're right, coding Rainmeter can be indeed time consuming, especially if you want to create well made skins, but it also can be very fun, too. Just be careful, after a while you can become addicted. Believe me, I spend many hours coding every day and I know what am I talking about...
