I just wanted to say how happy I am that rainmeter is being developed again! I've been running it for years, and even the old version worked from XP through Vista and up to 7. Thats impressive!
Anyways, I wanted to give a feature suggestion. I'm thinking that in Rainlendar2, it introduced text display that Windows handled, meaning that your text options in control panel were used - especially cleartype. IIRC, rainlendar1 acted like rainmeter does now. I was hoping perhaps that feature from rainlendar2 could be extended to rainmeter, such that instead of using the antialias option in the ini file, let windows do it on its own. Antialias is a better option than nothing, but cleartype definitely does much better, especially on smaller text, and the text looks crisper and sharper.
Thank you all for your efforts and thanks for listening to my request.

I think it would be a great improvement and more unified look with Win7 etc to change the font rendering to cleartype
