TV Series fanatics; How do you keep track of the episodes you watch?

Post by SweeneyTodd »

I follow many TV Series simultaneously, and it becomes a hassle to keep track of which episodes I've watched and which episodes are aired.

Which solution do you have for this? Do you check the TV Series' imdb page for the dates constantly? Do you use any software?

The reason I'm asking this: I had written a rainmeter plugin to keep track of these for me a while ago, but never actually finished it. Now that I have the time, I want to rewrite it from scratch, and I need your answers =)

Umm, does this really need a RM skin? ;-)
If it's in the Now Playing queue on the TiVo, it hasn't been watched, otherwise, it has.
Is it actually possible to watch TV without a TiVo??? O.O

This is a site I like for tracking shows I want to watch. Just create an account and tell it which shows you are interested in. Highly doubt it could be parsed with WebParser though.

People usually check the series' imdb page / keep a .txt file of the episodes they have watched
or use sites like trakt.tv , TVCalendar
or use pc/mobile apps(like Sonarr).
Wouldn't it be nice if you could track without opening your browser or any software? having a rainmeter skin in your beautiful desktop, without additional unnecessary features =)

Here is a screenshot from the version I wrote 2 years ago

I'm looking forward to finish the new version and, this time, be able to share it =)
