How To Make Background Invisible

Post by MourningStar »

SilverAzide at deviantart has made some system monitoring skins that are similar to the ones at addgadgets.com. SilverAzide's skins have a feature that permits the skin's background to completely fade so that only the graphics are displayed. To do this there is a small skin icon that you clik and a graphic configuration window displays permitting various graphic alterations such as color etc. Setting 'Opacity' to zero and enabling 'Solid' for background style will completely make the solid black background disappear. Is this simple to accomplish with skins that do not have these user/built-in features? I have a calendar skin I would want to do this to.

-thx

resolved. the calendar I wanted to modify had a [BackgroundStyle] entry in one of the settings files and I simply changed all relevant values to zero. (lucky me, as I am super-guessing my way thru all this).

thx for reply balala

You're welcome. But if you found the solution, I don't need the link.
