Re: Pardon our dust
I'm finding the orange very difficult to read - can you make it a darker shade? Thanks.

My thoughts exactly Struggling to find orange spots on here like crazy, hahaha! I must be blind or something, cause apart from some minor "selected texts", I can't find any....jsmorley wrote: What orange?

Now that I look at it, I think he means the "hovered link" color. I agree that could be a shade darker.Yincognito wrote: My thoughts exactly Struggling to find orange spots on here like crazy, hahaha! I must be blind or something, cause apart from some minor "selected texts", I can't find any....

Re: Pardon our dust
Yes, that's what I meant by "minor selected text" too. My point was that it's not like those texts are everywhere
That being said, while working on my skins, I also came to realize orange works best if put on dark colors. Otherwise (aka if on a lighter background), like JohnBurns suggested, you must make the orange darker instead.
Truth has been spoken. Hallelujah!
P.S. Pardon me, just being happy after making my calendar work with the help of Zeller's Congruence (and some assistance by Brian)...

Re: Pardon our dust (Feed & YQL, + IRC)
The RSS feed (http://rainmeter.net/forum/feed.php) is not working...
I don't see a link to the RSS feed anywhere in this new forum version.
Tried a different URL, and can see the xml info using (http://forum.rainmeter.net/feed.php) in the chrome browser,
but my YQL reader is generating RegExp match error (-1)
Tried several other YQL-based reader skins and none worked.
Or did I miss something?
P.S. IRC Link?

Re: Pardon our dust
The feed still works (at least in a browser)...but redirects to http://forum.rainmeter.net/feed.php. I would suspect that the feed has changed slightly, so your RegExp would need to be updated along with the URL.eclectic-tech wrote:The RSS feed (http://rainmeter.net/forum/feed.php) is not working...
Thanks for the reminder. We talked about it earlier today, but didn't get it in yet - along with some other links to the main site, docs, etc. We will be adding it hopefully in the near future.eclectic-tech wrote:P.S. IRC Link?

That works perfectly well for me in my RSS skin for the site, using that URL. Well, I actually use:
URL=http://#MyName#:#MyPassword#@forum.rainmeter.net/feed.php?auth=http
But either way it works fine using that feed in WebParser and the same RegExp I always used.
However, I suspect that something has changed in the response from YQL. I get this:
Code: Select all

You can use that YQL output above, or get your own by adding Debug=2 to your WebParser parent measure, and see what needs to be changed using RainRegExp.

Figured as much... no problem
I will work on changing the RegExp.
I hope links to the rss feed, the main rainmeter site, the docs manual, and irc are in the future plan!
I am sure these are all on your radar, and not everything can happen at once... patience... patience... .
