Hello
My sidebar suddenly got weird reflections on it.
You can see it on this picture: http://i.imgur.com/pVOw4tU.jpg
It was working fine before as you can see on this picture: http://i.imgur.com/BPI8Nln.jpg
What happened?
Thanks

looks like it is part of the blur. changes to your visual style recently?

Re: Weird reflection on the sidebar
Nope, no changes. But I switched to another visual style and then switched back and I think this happened after that :/moshi wrote:looks like it is part of the blur. changes to your visual style recently?
EDIT: It's like that on all my visual styles and also on Aero. I tried to reinstall Rainmeter but that didn't work. :/

Re: Weird reflection on the sidebar
would you mind taking a screenshot with Aero as visual style?
just to be sure.

EDIT: You can see it very clear in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al0iYCmO6Rg
Although I did not use Aero in the video, but this reflection problem applies to all of my visual styles.

Re: Weird reflection on the sidebar
really looks like the blur is corrupted. see how those diagonal lines that are part of the Aero blur stop exactly at the half of your screen height?
have you tried turning it off and on again? (reboot with Aero applied)
usually i'd suggest running sfc /scannow from the command line, but that would mean you'd loose all resource hacks.
edit: you do not have the diagonal lines in your window titlebars as well, right?

Umm, this happened when I restarted with Aero applied: http://i.imgur.com/Syuydjt.jpgmoshi wrote:really looks like the blur is corrupted. see how those diagonal lines that are part of the Aero blur stop exactly at the half of your screen height?

And yes, I see those lines in the titlebars

Re: Weird reflection on the sidebar
but that's exactly how it is supposed to be. those diagonal lines are part of the Aero visual style. blame Microsoft, if you do not like them.
any which way. not a Rainmeter problem.
the weird part was that they were only on the half of your screen before you rebooted.any which way. not a Rainmeter problem.
