I noticed some problems with how well Rainmeter renders font (Maybe I'm crazy).
Here is an image comparing the same skin on 2 machines, 1 running 7, the other running 8. I noticed this problem immediately after upgrading to 8, but convinced myself that I was just crazy. So I decided to make this comparison screen and you can clearly see the difference. At normal zoom, text looks jagged and rough, unlike in 7, where the font looks exceptionally smooth

We are aware of the issue and are working toward a solution. We may be switching to a different rendering engine to draw text, but we haven't made any firm decisions yet.
