This application as a whole isn't very 'new' user friendly. Was recommended by a friend but after fooling around for half an hour going through very unhelpful forum threads and finding no useful information- just uninstalled. May try again eventually.

Re: Suggestion
We try to balance "user friendly" with "flexible and powerful". I readily grant that it is not trivial for a new user to get into the "creating/editing skins" side of using Rainmeter. The best way is to start with http://docs.rainmeter.net/manual, with the understanding that there is a certain commitment required to wrap your head around it all and get off to the right start.Ollerus wrote:This application as a whole isn't very 'new' user friendly. Once you have read the "Getting Started" section of the manual and scanned the rest to sorta see what kind of functionality is available, the next best step is to find some skin(s) you like on deviantArt and tear them apart to see how they work and make changes to get used to things.
It is certainly true that "Rainmeter is not for everyone" however. We understand and are fine with that.
