Transparent Triangle Buttons

Hi

I would like to use a skin involving 4 triangulair buttons filling up the screen. These would link to music, movies, youtube,... in a small internet/HTPC attached to a TV. (Since I wont be needing the desktop, nor would the the other users in the house need to see it. In the future a remote might be added.)

I made the images for the buttons 1920x1080 with the triangle visible and the rest transparent. Now only the meter at the top works ?

Also I would like to use the 'Up, Down, Over' state system of buttons, but with this transperancy the mouse is always on a meter, so always in the Over state. I made the images for Over and Up the same now since it didn't matter but I'd like them to be different.

Can this be fixed using such transparent images ?

Not presently as the last meter in the skin is actually a rectangle which covers the others, so it is the only one that will work...
