[SOLVED] InputText not working anymore

I've noticed my text boxes don't work anymore on my skin. I thought I messed something up, but then I tried other skins with search boxes, and they don't work either. I opened the logs for the skins and they all say "!CommandMeasure: Not supported by [WhateverTheMeasureNameIs]".

It seems to have happened ever since I installed the RC version of Rainmeter. I have reinstalled Rainmeter and went back to the stable version 4, but the problem still exists. Does anyone else have this issue?

Do you get plugin errors in the log when you refresh a skin using InputText?

Yup, it says "Plugin: InputText.dll not found".

Can you supply a bit more info on your installation and OS?
Are you running standard or portable installation?
Does the plugin show in the ABOUT window?



The error is saying there is no valid textinput.dll located where rainmeter expects to find it.

I am not a rainmeter expert, but the more you can tell us, about your system and installation,
the more likely someone here may be able to figure out what happened.

Posting some of your code would eliminate any issues there...
I'm not having any problems with any skins using the textinput.dll.

Yup, it says "Plugin: InputText.dll not found".

That suggests that your copy of InputText.dll or your .NET installation is broken. Since you've already tried a Rainmeter reinstall, I'd suggest that you try to reinstall .NET from here.

Thanks Poiru, it was in fact the .NET framework.
