Hey,
Looking for a skin/app that opens all programs etc. in a predefined window/room.
Just wanna create a kinda taskbar and info-bar at the bottom and right side of my desktop (2560x1440) - always shown - even when running applications/games.
The apps/games should open and use the leftover space of the screen (eg 1920x1080pix).
Does sth like this exist? Either in Rainmeter or another standalone?
Don't wanna use windowed mode cuz of the frame and it's kinda annoying to resize every app to this.

Rainmeter has this feature built-in, via the DesktopWorkArea setting in Rainmeter.ini. Outside of Rainmeter, you can get the same effect using DesktopCoral, which is a little more full-featured.
Be aware that both of these options only restrict the size of maximized windows. They do not affect full-screen applications (such as games, video players and full-screen browser modes).

Sadly the WorkArea resets when Adminrights are needed.
Same for changing preferences of the TrayIcons.
I always have to reload and mini/maximize the windows again to get things working again..
