Cannot get quote plugin to work

Hi,

I've been using rainmeter for a while and recently decided I'd like to display some quotes from a file on my desktop. I came across the quote plugin from the main site documentation but couldn't get it to work. I've since read numerous posts on this forum and tried amending settings accordingly but had no luck getting the plugin to display.

I'm not sure if i need to do something after editing my rainmeter.ini file in order to enable the plugin?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've attached my ini and quotes files in a zip.

You are on the right direction with the measure that you created, but you 've missed an important part on Rainmeter 101. When you want to create a new skin, you aren't supposed to paste the code inside Rainmeter.ini, but to create a new skin folder and skin.ini inside Skins directory.
