Showing a proces percentage in a skin

Post by balala »

Hello,

I'm working on a new skin, which will copy a CD/DVD. For this I will use two little applications: the command line version of Magic ISO and Power ISO. I use them hided and for this I use the jsmorley's idea (http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11176). In this way I can use the returned error code, too. But while any of this applications runs, it shows in the command line window, a progress percentage. I'd like to use this percentage in the skin to see the progress of the proces. How can it be done - I'd like to use the percentage value as a variable, or maybe there is any better idea? I think it can be done using AutiIt, but I have no enough knowledge to do it and I'd like to ask somebody to give me advice.
I uploaded the command line version of Magic ISO and Power ISO. The file can be downloaded for free, from here: http://www.filefactory.com/file/6arth3v0y63f/n/CDCopy.zip I couldn't attach it to this post. Power ISO can create an image file, using this command: piso make-image F: -o d:\test.iso (F: is the CD/DVD drive), the usage is described here: http://www.poweriso.com/tutorials/index.htm, under Create ISO Files on Command Line. Magic ISO can burn the created image file to a disc (usage is described here: http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/tutorials.htm, under Usage of ISO burner).

Thank you,
