rookie mistake

I just got rainmeter and finished setting up the default skin how I like, but I can't click on anything to bring up the skin manager. I tried opening the actual rainmeter application, but nothing happens. Didn't see this problem anywhere else, so please help

Have you tried to click on the Rainmeter icon in your system tray (or notification area) ?

Left-click the icon to open the Manage dialog, or right-click the icon and select "Manage" from the menu.

That's what I've been trying. It works for a little bit, then just quits without even showing up.

You might have messed up something when creating your skin. Try removing Rainmeter.ini in %APPDATA%\Rainmeter (close or kill Rainmeter first).
