Need some basic help

Hi, I've just discovered rainmeter for the first time a few days ago and after downloading a crap ton of skins and mixing them up and seeing how some work, I'd like to try my hand at actually editing some. The thing is I'm pretty much coding retarded and I just can't get it right.

I was interested in changing the color of this one skin from called Ambient Tech/rainmeter/skins/dark_glass/LEFT/bar L I figure I could start small with something like a color change, but I have no idea where to do it. Any help?
