Rainmeter refuses to open.

Hi, I just got Rainmeter today and I was installing skins and the such. Then I tried to open Rainmeter but it wouldn't. None of the applications will show up. I tried uninstalling it then re-installing, I used this http://rainmeter.net/cms/Tips-CleanUninstall but it wouldn't work. I spent a few hours trying to get this to show up and nothing happened. Please help.
