problem installing

everytime i try to install rainmeter it says ""VC++ x86 install failed with error code connecting to host. You might want to try downloading the Visual C++ x86 Redistributable package manually from (long url)" then it closes the download. ive tried to download the package manually, but it says that my computer already has it. help? :o
