Getting Started

Post by stevensjas »

Just downloaded rainmeter and i am having trouble with the skin/theme. I downloaded the apb theme but i do not like it that well and have no idea know where to go from there. What I wanted was something that looked good but was simple and convenient, like clock and date, weather, music, etc. in reach ( like the picture). I am really confused and need help on how to make my desktop to look like this. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advaced.

I believe that picture is of Serenity, which looks like a "collection" of other peoples skins (I could be wrong), so you are going to have to learn how to edit the skin files to get them the way you want.

I strongly recommend reading through Rainmeter101, and the Manual. It takes about a day or so to understand the ins and outs of how Rainmeter works.

Good luck!
