As you can see, I can't get it to work.
Does anyone have any idea why this is? I've tried manually downloading it, as the dialogue box suggests, as well as a few other fixes to do with the way Windows Installer works, running as an admin, safe mode etc. And nuthin - I can't figure it out.
I'd really appreciate your help in making my desktop as badass as yours...

If you can't manually install the Visual C++ package from http://rainmeter.net/redist then I'm afraid there is not much we can do. Did a quick Google search and it seems reinstalling Windows was what most folks ended up having to do.

I actually JUST fixed it - it was either down to the InstallSheild security settings, to which I gave myself full access, or changing my UAC back on. I think having it turned off, for some reason, was simply denying access without asking. Thanks for your help though.
