Hello, I'm using Rainmeter Launcher skin with my custom icons (.ico).
In 2.1 version (2.1.0 r959 x64) it looks like:
And in all 2.2 versions (beta/stable):
It is currently May 6th, 2024, 10:14 am

Re: Bug with .ico in 2.2
Which beta are you talking about?
I believe this was fixed in an earlier beta.
Have you tried the most recent version? Here's a link: http://rainmeter.googlecode.com/files/Rainmeter-2.2.exe

Yes, I tried last version - nothing changed.
I updated first post to avoid misunderstanding.

Re: Bug with .ico in 2.2
Do you have "Antialias=1" on those image meters with the .ico files?
Can you zip up those .ico files and attach the .zip here so I can test some things?

Re: Bug with .ico in 2.2
I've tried to add "AntiAlias=1", images have changed a bit, but also look fuzzy.
Attached my icons. Of course one problem is that many of them have only 1 resolution - for example last icon (RivaTuner) looks good because it has all resolutions in it. But it's interesting why in old rainmeter everything was ok.

Re: Bug with .ico in 2.2
So you are "scaling" the images by using W= and H= on the meters? What size are you setting them to?

Re: Bug with .ico in 2.2
If I scale to 32x32 and use the poster's .ico files with no AntiAlias, I get this.
Zoomed in:
Clearly a big difference between 2.1 release and 2.2 release.

Does seem to be some issue in 2.2 that we need to look at. We are doing so now.zzeneg wrote:W=32

Re: Bug with .ico in 2.2
Maybe it's caching problem with icon. I'll add exception for that.
