Okay, this ought to be easy, but I can't get a screen shot of my rainmeter. I've tried a number of screen capture tools as well as good, old-fashioned ALT-PRINTSCREEN. All i get is the desktop. The rainmeter is never captured.
Am I missing something?
Thanks!

Good old fashioned PrintScreen with no alt doesn't work?

That's very strange. I use Alt+Printscreen all of the time to take Rainmeter screenshots. What version of Windows are you running? Also, does Alt+Printscreen work for other applications?

Re: Can't Take Rainmeter Screenshot
Any screen capture method I use (including alt-printscreen) just simply ignores Rainmeter and Object Dock. The desktop behind these applications is captured, but not the applications.

Well, with Rainmeter, try changing the position to "Normal" (if "On Desktop"), but i'm not sure if this even does anything...just a thought:)

Re: Can't Take Rainmeter Screenshot
I use the Snipping tool with Vista and for more detailed options I use ScreenShot Captor.
I have never had an issue.
This would almost seem like some third party application interference.
Are you utilizing any shell customization tools?

Re: Can't Take Rainmeter Screenshot
As Sarge said, the Snipping Tool that comes with Windows works fine for getting a screenshot of the desktop including Rainmeter.
